One of the reasons why Tawawa on Monday’s sudden addition to the pages of Weekly Young Magazine is so surprising is that, for all intents and purposes, the peak of the webcomic’s popularity has long since passed. To be honest, the story is pretty vague at best, and acts mostly as a vehicle for Himura to express his love for big boobs and cute girls (NSFW). New chapters go live every – you guessed it – Monday, and mostly consist of illustrations with not much text. Himura started the Tawawa on Monday webcomic back in 2015, and has since drawn close to 300 installments. Just last week, we reported on The Ghost Behind the Gal joining the Weekly Shonen Champion line-up, based on Kurara Hashimoto’s popular webcomic, but color me surprised when I learned that Kiseki Himura’s Tawawa on Monday ( Getsuyoubi no Tawawa) would be getting a serialization in Weekly Young Magazine. Twitter manga getting proper serializations is no longer a new thing.
